ADHD: You Now Have A Choice In The Type Of Treatment

ADHD has become a big problem. The CDC reports a 42% increase in ADHD cases in recent years. It is the number one diagnosed neurobehavioral disorder found in children and the number one reason kids are medicated. Healthline reports 13% of men will are diagnosed with ADHD sometime in their lifetime. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a problem that most of us will deal with in some form or fashion.

Many people think medications are the only way to manage the symptoms of ADHD. It is important for people to know that there are non-drug options for ADHD. We know the drugs can be helpful in some cases. We meet a lot of people who don’t want to put their children on the ADHD drugs or are unhappy with the side effects. We also meet a lot of people who don’t believe in a one size fits all approach to health.

Getting to the root of every health problem is a big deal. We all need to be very careful in chasing symptoms. This is especially true with symptoms and disorders that involve the brain. Too many people are covering up the symptoms without trying to find the cause of the symptoms.

Brain maps help find the cause of the problem. Maps are a 15 minute, non-invasive, computerized, EEG analysis of brain function. Maps show us the type and severity of ADHD. Maps also guide us in the treatment process. Our program is a non-drug treatment approach that includes advanced neurofeedback, brain rehab exercises and nutrition. Maps allow us to treat the individual and not the symptom.

We help people dealing with ADHD, autism spectrum, anxiety, depression, post-concussion symptoms, memory issues, chronic pain and addiction reach their goals with the latest in nondrug treatment. Let us know if we can help in any way. You can reach us at info@themartinclinic.com or 770.237.3970. We have treatment locations in Duluth and Alpharetta, Georgia.
