Our History
Having worked in the last mile world, Sal Caiazzo was himself a delivery professional and contractor. As the CEO of CTG, Regional Express, and Southern Atlantic, his experience and industry leadership helped him develop a unique mindset when it comes to providing solutions.
By understanding the business from the bottom to the top as opposed to the reverse, we are able to tailor solutions for any client in nearly any location while exceeding expectations. Our knowledge, superior standards, and high-performance culture has given us a high standard of excellence.

Sal Caiazzo
Chief Executive Officer / Owner
Sal’s credentials span a decade of growing successful enterprises within the delivery and transportation industry. As President of Southern Atlantic Logistics’ FedEx unit (Federal Express unit), Sal led the strategic launch and successful growth of the business by establishing an end-to-end strategy and superior operating results leading to a 30% CAGR and successful exit in 2018. Sal’s industry leadership journey continued as Owner and President of Regional Express(an Amazon DSP) where he has successfully launched and grown market penetration and operating channels that drove 75% growth over the past three years. Sal’s early career included 15 years as a construction engineer and notable safety expert. As a student and athlete, he was a member of the NYIT Lacrosse Team that captured the NCAA Division II Men’s Title.
CJ Brown
Vice President Operations
CJ has served in operating and business development leadership roles at both Amazon and Regional Express. During his more than five years of business development experience at Amazon, CJ was instrumental in the growth and positive trajectory accomplished in their northeast market. CJ’s credentials have been accentuated as the senior operator at Regional Express in 2019 and 2020, delivering 50% growth in the business while crafting operating initiatives to sustain go-forward growth plans. In addition to his industry leadership capabilities, he had also been a leader in athletics as a starting quarterback for the University of Maryland.
Todd Whitney
Regional Operations Manager
Born into a military family, in Tachikawa Japan, Todd has lived in several cities internationally! Todd has a robust professional background in management, associate growth and development, and customer service. Before joining Consolidated Transport Group in 2020 as the Regional Operations Manager, he served as the District Manager of Toys”R”Us from 1992 – 2005 and Regional Manager of Old Time Pottery 2005 – 2020, where he was an integral part of developing their training and site management programs. Todd is happily married to his wife, Heidi, who share 6 children and 2 grandchildren that keep their free time busy and full of enjoyment.
Eliot Thornton
Fleet Manager
A Georgia native, Eliot has been a part of the transportation and logistics industry for over 20 years. At Consolidated Transport Group (CTG), he oversees vehicle and driver management, ensuring smooth operations, vehicle safety, and assists with ensuring regulatory compliance. Eliot meticulously manages driver logs, vehicle maintenance schedules, vehicular downtime, and fuel consumption. He is dedicated to providing excellent service to CTG clients and ensuring that their fleet management needs are being met with professionalism, efficiency, and care. In his free time, Eliot enjoys traveling, boating, camping, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Kendra English
Sales & Human Resources Administrative Support
Born and raised in a small rural town south of Atlanta, Kendra’s journey led her to earn both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Georgia Southern University. As the Sales and Human Resources Administrator Support at CTG, Kendra brings a wealth of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, marketing, and sales to drive organizational results for all of CTG’s clients. Outside of her professional endeavors, you’ll find her exploring new cultures through travel and indulging her culinary creativity in the kitchen.
Paul Brenner CPA
Controller
Paul Brenner, Controller of CTG, brings a depth of experience in many industries including logistics, distribution, construction, retail and hospitality. Financial statements tell the story of the business, good or bad. By understanding and using these statements, owners can change the story for the better. Paul uses his experience and knowledge to help clients, ensuring they have quality financial statements. Working with all areas of finance, he also analyzes results, helping clients achieve greater profits. Paul, a graduate from University of Kansas with a BS in Accounting, is a licensed CPA. He provides advice and assistance in all areas of accounting and finance to clients.
Brandie Watrous
Director of Human Resources
With a career spanning 30 years in Hospitality Management, Brandie Watrous has mastered the art of juggling people and payroll with flair. Brandie blends her knack for managing people with her passion for numbers. Brandie’s approach to both work and life is marked by her witty sense of humor and her ability to find joy in the little things! Born and raised in the Heartland, Brandie proudly embodies that famous Midwestern work ethic “work hard, play hard” with a sprinkle of “let’s grab a casserole after the meeting.” When she’s not crunching numbers, you’ll find her treasure shopping, crafting or spending time with her beloved pets and family!

Hailing from the great state of Kentucky, and a long line of transportation professionals, Ron is an accomplished Risk Management, Safety, and Insurance Advisor that is licensed in all 50 US states & Washington D.C! His professional experience and expertise spans multiple industries, including but not limited to nonprofit governance, healthcare, last-mile logistics, and OTR trucking. He is known amongst his colleagues for his veracity, prudence, and integrity in his business engagements, along with his ability to deliver innovative and customized solutions for complex and diverse enterprise risk scenarios. Ron deeply values the trust that our clients and partners place in him and strives to exceed their expectations daily. Ron holds a BA in Political Science & Government from the University of Louisville #GoCards! Outside of the office, he enjoys reading, motorcycling, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Grace Caiazzo, is a first-generation American born and raised in New York City before making the move to Georgia in 2016. A devoted mother of four, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, children, and their two lovable Goldendoodles. Grace seamlessly balances her family life with her professional role at the company. Her responsibilities include office management, and employee health insurance. A crucial part of Grace’s role involves overseeing the company’s health insurance processes. She is responsible for enrolling employees in health insurance plans and vigilantly monitoring invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance. Her multifaceted role is crucial to the smooth functioning of the office, and she brings a unique blend of professionalism and fun to her work environment.
